Job summary

Rivan Industries in Spain is seeking a Land Manager to accelerate its origination strategy for renewable energy parks. You will work with land agents and source opportunities, lead site selection, and negotiate land access rights aligned with project requirements.

Based in Spain with regular UK visits, the role requires 5+ years in land origination, a related degree, and willingness to travel. The position offers a base salary of £60-80k, significant equity, remote work in Spain, unlimited time

Qualifications

• 5+ years in large-scale renewable or infrastructure land origination.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field.
• Clean driving license is required.
• Strong capability in first-principles thinking and strategy.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and evaluate potential sites with GIS input.
• Meet landowners and agents to discuss access and secure long-term exclusivity.
• Negotiate Landowner and Option Agreements for development sites.
• Negotiate easements and other land agreements as needed.
• Collaborate with legal to de-risk agreements.
• Review land title due diligence with legal support.
• Maintain records of land agreements and communications.
• Align land acquisition strategy with project timelines and budget.
• Assist with boundary and title reviews for planning submissions.
• Support community engagement and liaise with utilities post-consent.
