Rivan Industries seeks a Land Manager to accelerate its origination strategy and grow its renewable energy pipeline in Spain. You will work with land agents and self-source opportunities for solar and energy parks, negotiating access and rights across multiple owners.

The role requires leadership in site selection strategies, collaboration with legal and development teams, and frequent travel to engage landowners and partners, with alignment to UK and Portugal resources.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in large-scale renewable projects land origination.
• Willingness to travel to meet landowners, agents, and partners.
• Clean driving license required.
• Strong first-principles thinking and strategic planning abilities.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field.

Responsabilités

• Identify, analyze, and evaluate potential sites for renewable energy projects.
• Meet with landowners and their agents to discuss land access agreements and secure long-term exclusivity.
• Negotiate and secure Landowner and Option Agreements for development sites.
• Negotiate easements and other land agreements for renewable energy sites.
• Collaborate with legal and development teams to de-risk agreements.
• Review land title due diligence with legal and development support.
• Maintain accurate records of land agreements and communications.
• Align land acquisition strategy with project timelines and budget.
• Assist with boundary and title reviews during planning submissions.
• Support community engagement strategies as required.
• Coordinate with external legal parties during post-consent discussions.
• Work with internal teams to exercise Option Agreements at key milestones.
• Stay updated on land/planning/origination trends in Spain.
