The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing commercial relationships with traders, utilities, and large consumers. Key responsibilities include :
- Commercial Development and Origination : Building and maintaining a network of contacts to identify opportunities for energy contracting.
- Counterparty Onboarding : Leading the onboarding process of new trading counterparties, including KYC checks and negotiation of master agreements.
- Hedging and Trading Execution : Negotiating and executing power hedging strategies in accordance with the risk policy.
- PPA Negotiation and Structuring : Leading or supporting the origination, structuring, and negotiation of long-term Power Purchase Agreements.
- Contract and Settlement Management : Supervising and coordinating settlements of ongoing PPAs.
- Market Intelligence : Conducting electricity, gas, CO2, and commodity market analysis to provide internal forward-looking price views and strategic market insights.
- Participation in Organized Markets : The opportunity to act as a trader in organized futures markets.
- To be successful in this role, you should have :
- A Bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics, economics, or engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a related position.
- Intermediate to Advanced English language proficiency (B2-C1).
- Commercial skills with capacity to interact with C-level stakeholders.
- Precise, strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills, target-oriented, and organizational / methodical skills.
- Great interest in the renewable energy sector.
