With a secured 2GW+ pipeline across Spain, this developer is delivering utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage projects that will shape the future of energy in Iberia.Backed by significant investment and led by a strong executive team, the company is rapidly transitioning from development-heavy to full-scale project execution. You will play a critical role in ensuring this growth is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest technical standards.The Role:As Renewable Construction Director, you will lead the end-to-end construction strategy for all Spanish utility-scale Solar PV and BESS assets. This is a national leadership role reporting into the C-suite, with full accountability for EPC performance, project delivery, and internal team development.You will shape the company’s construction function to support long-term, high-volume delivery and ensure the successful execution of multi-technology energy projects across Spain.Key Responsibilities:- Lead all construction activities for Solar and BESS projects across Spain (20MW–100MW+)- Develop and implement scalable project execution strategies aligned with business growth- Oversee EPC tendering, contracting, and delivery performance- Build and lead a high-performing internal construction management team- Ensure best-in-class HSE, quality, and grid compliance throughout the portfolio- Act as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to wider business strategyRequirements:- 7+ years’ experience in utility-scale renewable construction (Solar PV and/or BESS)- Proven leadership of large-scale construction portfolios, ideally in Spain or across Europe- Strong commercial, technical, and contract management expertise- Experience building and leading multidisciplinary teams across multiple project sites- Fluent in Spanish and EnglishWhy Join?- Take ownership of a 2GW+ national portfolio- Build and lead a construction function at scale- Work in a mission-driven company with a clear strategy and strong financial backing- Play a key role in Spain’s energy transition
