Airbus UpNext Spain, based in Getafe, seeks an Embedded Autonomy Software Developer to build the software backbone for FlightMind across Linux, ROS2, and safety-critical RTOS environments. You will connect ROS2 applications with model-generated software, enabling real-time deployment on airborne hardware.

You will design portable frameworks, provide hardware abstraction, and automate code generation from MATLAB/Simulink, contributing to CI/CD pipelines and tooling.

Formación

• Strong C/C++, Python, and Linux skills with ROS2 and embedded RTOS knowledge.
• Real-time software concepts (determinism, scheduling) and MATLAB/Simulink code generation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/Jenkins), Docker, CMake, and automated testing.
• Background in aerospace, robotics, or autonomous systems; safety standards like DO-178C a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design and maintain modular C/C++ and Python software for embedded autonomy.
• Develop ROS2 nodes, integrate with RTOS and middleware, optimize for latency.
• Automate build, test, and deployment workflows; support CI/CD pipelines.
