Airbus UpNext Spain seeks a Synthetic Environment & Sensor Simulation Engineer in Getafe to develop virtual environments and automated scenario-generation for flight autonomy demonstrations.

You will leverage Unreal Engine and other tools to create synthetic datasets, run real-time sensor feeds, and validate AI models with high-fidelity simulations. A pragmatic, proactive thinker is preferred to work across perception, safety, and flight-test teams.

Formación

• Experience with Unreal Engine or other game engines to build synthetic environments.
• Proficiency in Python and C++ for automation and data processing.
• Knowledge of sensor models (cameras LiDAR radar) and PBR rendering.

Responsabilidades

• Build virtual worlds and physics-based sensor simulations for flight autonomy systems.
• Generate synthetic and hybrid datasets with ground-truth annotations.
• Integrate simulations in real-time with flight autonomy hardware and pipelines.
