Airbus UpNext Spain, based in Getafe, seeks an UAS Flight Autonomy System Engineer (M/F) to architect and uphold the MBSE-driven system and verification framework for the flight autonomy demonstrator. The role includes end‑to‑end traceability from concept to flight‑test evidence and cross‑team coordination.

You will lead the definition of system requirements, develop architectures with MATLAB System Composer, and shape the verification strategy across MIL/SIL/PIL/HIL and flight campaigns.

Formación

• Strong background in systems engineering, integration, or V&V within aerospace or autonomous systems.
• Deep familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink tools (System Composer, Simulink Requirements, Simulink Test/Coverage) or equivalents (DOORS, Polarion, Cameo).
• Hands-on experience with SIL/HIL environments and translating operational scenarios into ground/flight-test procedures.
• Understanding of embedded systems, interfaces (ROS2/DDS), scripting (MATLAB/Python), and safety/development standards.
• A holistic “big‑picture” thinker who thrives in fast‑paced, agile environments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the generation and decomposition of clear, testable system requirements using MBSE tools. Maintain end‑to‑end traceability from concept to flight‑test evidence.
• Develop and maintain functional, logical, and physical architectures using MATLAB System Composer. Ensure consistency across baselines, ICDs, and hardware interfaces.
• Define the system‑level Verification & Validation strategy and allocate testing methods (MIL, SIL, PIL, HIL, ground, and flight‑test operations).
• Coordinate requirements‑based testing and lead post‑test assessments of flight data, managing anomalies and compliance matrices.
• Act as the central link between systems engineering, software development, safety, hardware integration, and the flight‑test crew.
