Placements24 seeks a Telecommunications Systems Specialist for a fully remote role supporting enterprise telecom systems. You will troubleshoot, optimize, and secure voice, data, and video platforms across a global client base.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in telecom systems, expertise in VoIP, SIP, Cisco/Avaya, and scripting for automation. Remote work offers flexibility and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of experience in telecommunications systems support and administration.
• Expertise in VoIP technologies, SIP, and teleconferencing systems.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP and network infrastructure.
• Experience with UCaaS/CCaaS cloud platforms and scripting for automation.
• Certifications such as CCNA Voice or MCSE are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting for advanced telecom systems.
• Monitor performance, identify issues, and implement proactive solutions.
• Perform complex configuration changes and system upgrades with engineering teams.
• Analyze logs and performance data to diagnose root causes.
• Develop technical documentation and operational guides.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve system-wide issues.
• Participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 support.
• Evaluate system enhancements and new technologies; ensure security compliance.
• Assist in planning deployments and migrations.
