Job summary

QAD is hiring a Technical Support Engineer to diagnose and resolve complex issues, ensure smooth installations, upgrades, and configurations of QAD products, and perform Progress DBA tasks. You will work with global teams to deliver high-quality support while handling 24/7 shift rotations, weekends, and potential on-call coverage.

The role requires a bilingual candidate comfortable with global environments, operating systems (Unix, Linux, Windows Servers), and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in supporting enterprise/ERP products.
• 4+ years handling P1 support, critical escalations and high-impact cases.
• Hands-on ERP support including installing, upgrading, or configuring ERP software (QAD experience a plus).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for QAD and Progress products, including installations, configurations, upgrades, and administration tasks.
• Analyze and resolve issues with advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Handle escalated cases with SLAs to maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Perform Progress DBA tasks: optimization, backups, and monitoring.
