Formación

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience with children aged 5-12.

Welcome to the Abakus School for the Development of Intelligence and Mathematical Thinking!

We provide online one-to-one lessons for children aged 5 to 14. Our primary focus is mental arithmetic combined with brain and math thinking development. We aim to create a dynamic, enjoyable learning experience that empowers children to conquer mathematical challenges with confidence. We are looking for online teachers to join our team.

What will you do?

1. Conduct individual 25min / 55min online lessons in Zoom and on Abakus platform
2. Fill up the progress report of every child once a month
3. Mark attendance of children on the platform
4. Adapt and modify lesson plans from the school curriculum to support the students and meet their needs

Requirements:

• Teaching experience with kids aged 5-12 (minimum 2 years)
• Playful, dynamic, fun and engaging teaching approach
• Weekday availability: Minimum total of 10 hours weekly (3pm - 7pm) and weekend availability (at least 4 hours on one weekend day, 10am - 4pm) Central European time
• Experience in Soroban Mental Arithmetic (Desirable)
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Math, Pedagogy, Psychology or related fields (a plus)
