Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced Site Reliability Engineers and incident management leads for flexible remote work. The role focuses on training AI models on professional documentation and improving reliability practices across incident management workflows.

Candidates should have 4+ years in SRE or incident leadership, and proven ability to craft high-quality technical documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. Remote, 5–20 hours weekly, ASAP start.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a Site Reliability Engineer, Incident Commander, or production/on-call engineering lead.
• Direct ownership of writing or reviewing blameless postmortems and root-cause analyses.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running or reviewing production incidents and on-call activities.
• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows.
• Develop blameless postmortems, RCAs, runbooks, and SRE-related reports to improve reliability.
