Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to guide the technical direction of client projects and internal products. The role requires deep engineering expertise, hands-on coding, and strategic thinking across engineering, product, and business domains.

The position is fully remote and welcomes an experienced technical leader who can operate across distributed teams and time zones, delivering scalable, cloud-native solutions and shaping roadmaps for internal and client work.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development, incl. 3+ years in architect/lead role.
• Hands-on coding ability, review PRs, prototyping solutions.
• Experience with AI-powered engineering and AI adoption in software lifecycle.
• Proven design of distributed, cloud-native, scalable systems.
• Product ownership from problem definition to launch and iteration.
• Strong English communication, written and spoken.
• Experience with client/executive-facing scope, budgets and delivery expectations.
• Ability to explain how technical decisions affect cost, timelines, risk and revenue.
• Experience estimating and scoping software projects.
• Experience in remote, distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Share ownership of technical strategy, architectural standards, engineering priorities, and technology direction.
• Own roadmaps for internal products and client projects, prioritizing by user needs and business value.
• Apply product-focused thinking to client projects, guiding requirements and prioritizing impactful work.
• Design solution architectures for new client projects and internal products from discovery to delivery.
• Support pre-sales activities, helping scope projects and translate goals into technical plans.
• Review architectural decisions and provide hands-on support for high-risk technical problems.
• Evaluate build-versus-buy decisions and AI adoption based on cost, risk, scalability, ROI.
• Represent engineering in discussions with executives and client stakeholders.
• Mentor senior engineers and raise standards for code quality, security, and delivery practices.
• Contribute to engineering work through code reviews, prototypes, and investigations.
