Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking an experienced Java Tech Lead / Solution Architect to lead a telecom-focused portal and integration platform. You will balance hands-on Java/Spring Boot development with architectural leadership while mentoring a small team.

The role emphasizes modern cloud-native design, DDD-driven microservices, and secure IAM patterns, with a remote setup based in Spain for international collaboration.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of commercial Java development experience.
• 2+ years in Tech Lead or Solution Architect role.
• Telecommunications domain preferred.
• Strong backend with Java/Spring Boot and complex integrations.
• 3–4 years React/TypeScript experience and frontend guidance.
• Experience designing microservices and DDD, event-driven systems.
• API design with REST and OpenAPI contracts.
• IAM: OAuth2/OIDC/Spring Security/RBAC.
• AWS, Docker, Kubernetes exposure and CI/CD practices.
• English proficiency B2+ to C1 for international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture for customer portal and integration platform in BSS/OSS domain.
• Lead technical discovery and define MVP implementation strategy.
• Design scalable systems with REST APIs, domains, and event components.
• Maintain a 50/50 split between architecture leadership and hands-on coding.
• Mentor a three-developer team and coordinate with UK-based stakeholders.
• Establish coding standards, quality gates, and secure software practices.
• Guide frontend React/TypeScript architecture and UI standards.
• Design enterprise integrations with reliable patterns and transactional messaging.
• Oversee security, OAuth2, OIDC, RBAC and workflow orchestration choices.
• Collaborate with DevOps on AWS, CI/CD, and deployment quality.
