CrowdStrike is seeking a Sr. Manager for Data Science to lead a team at the intersection of ML, LLMs, and cybersecurity. You will translate business needs into technical objectives, guide research directions, and provide mentorship across senior and junior data scientists.

You will identify high-value problems, gain stakeholder buy-in, and drive both research and production ML initiatives in a fast-paced enterprise. This role combines leadership with hands-on ML expertise.

Formación

• Advanced degree or equivalent experience in CS/DS.
• 5+ years data science and machine learning experience.
• 5+ years in a technical leadership or team lead capacity.
• Proven track record delivering ML projects to production.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder communication.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, providing technical guidance and performance management.
• Refine priorities with senior leadership and plan team roadmaps.
• Balance research innovation with production ML delivery.
• Stay current with ML and cybersecurity trends and evaluate new tech.
• Collaborate with security research, engineering, and product to align ML with business objectives.
• Guide development of advanced models for malware detection and security automation.
• Contribute to hands-on technical work when needed.
