Sowelo Consulting sp. z o.o. seeks a Senior Data Architect to design, implement, and optimize scalable lakehouse architectures on Databricks across multi-cloud environments.

This client-facing role requires translating business objectives into robust data platforms and leading high-impact engagements with enterprise stakeholders. You will work remotely from Spain (US Eastern time zone) and collaborate with delivery teams to migrate legacy systems, deploy production-grade pipelines, and drive

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on data engineering/architecture or big data platform development.
• Proficient in Python and SQL; strong Spark expertise (Scala a plus).
• Experience delivering data platforms on Databricks across AWS/Azure/GCP with CI/CD/DataOps practices.

Responsabilités

• Translate client objectives into scalable, secure lakehouse architectures.
• Lead end-to-end design, implementation, and optimization of data platforms.
• Build robust ingestion pipelines and transformations using Databricks, Spark, Python, SQL, and cloud services.
• Prepare architectural blueprints and accurate effort estimates for engagements.
• Collaborate with delivery teams and client engineers to ensure on-time, high-quality execution.
• Document architectures and establish best practices for long-term client self-sufficiency.
