Job summary

LanceSoft Europe seeks a senior, hands-on Databricks Architect to lead the design and delivery of an enterprise data lakehouse. You will establish a secure, scalable platform, drive adoption of Databricks capabilities across data engineering, governance, analytics, and AI readiness.

You will own the architecture roadmap, implement governance with Unity Catalog, and optimize performance and cost while guiding client stakeholders through production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Senior Databricks architect with hands-on delivery experience
• Experience designing enterprise lakehouses and data platforms
• Proven ability to govern data with Unity Catalog and Delta Lake

Responsibilities

• Own lakehouse architecture and implementation roadmap.
• Design batch, streaming, and CDC pipelines using Delta Lake and Lakeflow.
• Establish Unity Catalog governance across data access and security.
• Enable Databricks SQL and BI integration for trusted metrics and AI readiness.
• Lead cost optimization, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
