Your Role

As a Senior Bookkeeper / Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and providing critical financial insights to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.
2. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
3. Manage bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
4. Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations and labor laws.
5. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support business planning.
6. Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
7. Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors for audits and tax filings.
8. Provide financial analysis and reports to assist management in strategic decision-making.
9. Implement and improve accounting systems and processes to enhance efficiency.

What You’ll Need

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
2. Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping / accounting experience.
3. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms).
4. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
5. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
8. Expertise in Dubai Financial Regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

1. CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification (a plus).
2. Experience working in big companies.
3. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
