Salve.Lab is seeking a hands-on Security Engineer - Application Security, GRC & AI to join our R&D team. You will own security operations end-to-end, covering application security, vulnerability management, governance, and AI-related security challenges.

You will collaborate with developers and engineering leadership, review code, and coordinate external assessments. This role is remote from Europe with B2B contractor engagement and a strong emphasis on hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security engineering experience in the field of application security.
• Experience conducting security audits and penetration tests.
• Ability to work directly with code and development teams using Git/GitHub.
• Practical scripting or automation experience (Python, Bash or equivalent).

Responsabilités

• Perform security-focused code reviews to identify vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate external security assessments and audits.
• Remediate security weaknesses across applications and services.
• Integrate secure coding practices within development workflows (Git/GitHub).
• Monitor security alerts and emerging threats relevant to AI platforms.
• Maintain security risk registers and support audit readiness.
