Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Sales and Category Director for Food Ingredients Distribution, based in Spain. Lead commercial growth across six European markets, guiding Country Managers and aligning regional strategies with global objectives.

You will work in a senior leadership role with a strong emphasis on English plus an additional European language, travel flexibility, and cross-market collaboration. Remote role across Europe with permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Food Technology; MBA/EC education advantageous.
• Experience in food ingredients distribution with B2B focus.
• Leadership experience: 5+ years managing country-level teams.
• Multi-country management across Europe is highly relevant.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen; KPI-driven.
• Fluent English plus another European language.

Responsabilités

• Develop regional business plans aligned with global targets.
• Lead Country Managers across ~6 countries and support their teams.
• Translate global priorities into regional/country initiatives.
• Contribute to global policies and commercial tools implementation.
• Monitor cost structures, resources and performance to improve efficiency.
• Track sales results and KPIs; implement corrective actions when needed.
• Foster cross-country collaboration and share best practices.
• Provide selective operational support when required.
• Build relationships with producers, distributors, and HQ to drive growth.
