Job summary

Cronoshare.Com is seeking a Route and Logistics Planner for its Goods Transport division. This fully remote role in Spain focuses on designing, optimizing, and monitoring transport routes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.

You will leverage advanced routing software, GPS data, and TMS to deliver reliable service across a broad network. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, proactive, and capable of independent work in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics planning, route optimization, or transportation management.
• Proficiency with route planning software and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex data.
• Solid understanding of logistics operations and freight transportation principles.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with remote teams.
• Familiarity with Spanish transportation laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize daily, weekly, and monthly transportation routes considering delivery windows and driver hours.
• Utilize routing software and GPS to create efficient delivery sequences.
• Analyze transportation data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost reduction opportunities.
• Collaborate with dispatchers, drivers, and customer service to ensure smooth route execution.
• Monitor real-time delivery progress and adjust routes for traffic, weather, or issues.
• Ensure routes comply with transportation regulations, including hours of service.
• Generate reports on route performance, mileage, fuel consumption, and on-time delivery.
• Maintain accurate route information in the Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans for disruptions.
