Job summary

Cronoshare.Com is seeking a Route and Logistics Planner for its Goods Transport division. This fully remote role lets you design and optimize transportation routes across Spain, using routing software, GPS data, and TMS to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

You will analyze delivery windows, vehicle capacity, and driver hours, monitor real-time progress, and collaborate with dispatchers and customer service to ensure on-time performance while complying with hours of service and regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in logistics planning, route optimization, or transportation management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
Excellent understanding of logistics operations and freight transportation principles.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize daily, weekly, and monthly transportation routes.
Utilize routing software and GPS to create efficient delivery sequences.
Analyze transportation data to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborate with dispatchers, drivers, and customer service to ensure smooth execution.
Monitor real-time delivery progress and adjust routes as needed.
Ensure routes comply with transportation regulations, including hours of service.
Generate reports on route performance, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Maintain up-to-date route information in the TMS.
Identify risks and develop contingency plans for disruptions.
