ALTEN Delivery Centre Spain is seeking a qualified Mechanical Designer in a hybrid Madrid role. You will design mechanical components in CATIA V5 from concept to release, manage technical documentation, and collaborate with international teams.

The position requires 2–5 years of Mechanical Engineering experience, strong CATIA V5 skills, and the ability to work autonomously with priorities and deadlines. Travel abroad may be involved, with a flexible, remote-friendly setup.

Formación

• 2–5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, ideally within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of CATIA V5 and mechanical design of parts and assemblies.
• Experience working with technical documentation, project structures, or PLM environments.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and take ownership of tasks.
• Experience with metal parts, sheet metal design, GD&T, complex surfaces, supplier coordination, or automotive standards is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop mechanical components in CATIA V5, from concept creation to drawing release, when project activities require it.
• Manage and organize technical documentation, project data structures, and task tracking.
• Independently manage assigned tasks, including prioritization and deadline follow-up.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary and international teams.
• Coordinate with suppliers and monitor orders and deliveries when required by the project.
• Support the continuous improvement of processes, documentation, and team workflows.
