RED is an expanding international M&E consultancy based in Madrid. We seek a fully experienced Associate Mechanical Design Engineer to lead major projects and coordinate mechanical/electrical building services for a diverse range of installations.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, ensure compliance with standards, guide project delivery, and support client liaison while applying robust QA/QC and technical review processes.

Formación

• Engineering degree or equivalent
• Registered with a recognised Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros
• Chartered Eng status or equivalent with appropriate experience
• Significant experience in building services design and project delivery
• Good knowledge of health and safety issues and legislation
• Understanding of contract and business law
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel)
• Ability to perform cost and fee analysis and to prepare reports

Responsabilidades

• Lead major projects and manage engineering design and coordination of mechanical/electrical systems for buildings
• Perform cost and profit diagnosis, feasibility studies, and fee bids
• Review schedules and prepare management or client reports
• Develop and specify control systems for building services
• Survey and report on existing installations
• Ensure compliance with standards and customer requirements
• Represent the company at technical meetings with clients and contractors
• Oversee internal controls, risk and performance monitoring
• Coordinate engineering services across teams
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff
• Support project delivery per RED processes across PM, QA/QC, and technical reviews
