Intellias is seeking a Principal Platform Engineer (Python) to design, build, and maintain the internal infrastructure platform. This role focuses on agentic AI data foundations, secure data access, and scalable workflows within regulated environments.

You will work with on-premises hardware, Docker/Kubernetes, and modern IaC & observability stacks to deliver reliable services. The position emphasizes ownership, deep collaboration with engineering teams, and the creation of self-service

Formación

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with a substantial focus on building infrastructure or platform tooling.
• Python production-level skills with packaging, typing, testing, and dependency management.
• On-premises Linux infrastructure understanding and exposure to networking, storage, and virtualization.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible for IaC.
• Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration and runtime access.
• CI/CD pipelines experience (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) including testing and staged releases.
• Observability tooling with Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
• Strong security mindset covering secrets management and identity controls.
• Excellent communication to document requirements and explain designs.
• Problem-solving mindset to tackle complex systemic failures.
• English level B2.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain Python services and internal tooling that compose the platform.
• Collaborate with consuming engineering teams to turn pain points into platform features.
• Automate infrastructure operations into self-service workflows for reproducibility and safety.
• Build observability into the platform with metrics, logging, and alerting.
• Own production issues end-to-end and drive root-cause analysis.
• Scale compute and storage across on-prem hardware while balancing cost and performance.
• Integrate security by default, including secrets, access control, and dependency hygiene.
• Evaluate new tools and patterns and fold them into the platform roadmap.
