Intellias is seeking a Principal Platform Engineer (Python) for a remote-from-Spain position within a global investment management framework. You will design and build agentic workflows and guardrail tooling to enable AI-ready data foundations, starting from scratch across the internal infrastructure platform.

Formación

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on infrastructure or platform tooling.
• Production-level Python development with packaging, typing, testing, and dependency management.
• On-premises infrastructure with Linux fundamentals and hardware know-how.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform and Ansible.
• Containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Observability tooling experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry or equivalent.
• Security focus including secrets management, identity, network isolation, and dependency hygiene.
• Strong collaboration and ability to document concepts for non-engineers.
• English level at least B2.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain Python services and tooling for the internal platform.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to turn pain points into platforms features.
• Replace manual ops with codified, self-service workflows for reproducibility and safety.
• Build observability into the platform with metrics, logging, and alerts.
• Own production issues end-to-end, from triage to fix.
• Scale compute and storage across on-premises hardware, balancing performance and cost.
• Integrate security by default: secrets, least privilege, dependency hygiene.
• Evaluate new tools and patterns and fold successful ones into the platform roadmap.
