Intellias in Málaga, Spain is seeking an Observability Engineer to design and extend telemetry pipelines for AI and cloud-native platforms. You will instrument Python services with OpenTelemetry and ADOT, build scalable pipelines, and deliver actionable telemetry across distributed systems.

The role collaborates with platform, AI, and DevOps teams to ensure performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational excellence at scale in a remote-friendly setup.

Formación

• 4+ years of observability or platform engineering.
• Experience designing ADOT/OTel pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python SDK or library development.
• Experience with AWS CloudWatch Metrics and X-Ray exporters.
• YAML-driven telemetry configuration schemas.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement observability solutions for AI platforms and distributed cloud-native applications.
• Instrument Python services using OpenTelemetry SDK and ADOT.
• Develop and maintain distributed tracing solutions using AWS X-Ray and OpenTelemetry.
• Configure telemetry collection, propagation, and export pipelines across AWS environments.
• Implement and maintain CloudWatch dashboards, metrics, logs, and alerting strategies.
• Establish monitoring standards for AI agents and service-to-service communication.
• Integrate observability capabilities with AWS AgentCore Observability and related platform services.
• Ensure proper W3C Trace Context propagation across applications and APIs.
• Instrument LangChain-based applications to capture traces, metrics, and execution insights.
• Partner with AI engineers and platform teams to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
• Build structured logging and telemetry standards for debugging and governance.
