Lever, Inc. is seeking a Lead Software Engineer (Editor) based in Spain to build an AI-native ecommerce conversion editor. You will combine technical leadership with product thinking, guiding a team while continuing to write code and ship critical features yourself.

You will own the editor’s technical direction, delivery, production health, and AI-powered capabilities, partnering with Product to shape meaningful roadmap opportunities in a fast-moving environment.

Formación

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with at least 1–2 years in a technical lead or de facto lead capacity.
• Strong hands-on software engineering background building consumer-facing web products at scale.
• Proven experience shipping AI-powered product features beyond AI coding assistants.
• Experience working with Product Managers on roadmap development, feature definition, and prioritization.

Responsabilidades

• Own the editor's technical direction, including AI-powered capabilities and production health.
• Lead the Editor 2.0 team's delivery: sprint planning, task breakdown, and blockers.
• Mentor engineers and promote AI-assisted engineering practices across the team.
• Write unit and integration tests and ensure code reviews and quality standards.
