Lever, Inc. is seeking a Principal Software Engineer based in Spain to help build next-generation browser-based security features used by millions.

You will lead architecture and mentorship across a distributed team, deliver high-quality code, and design integrations across complex systems while applying AI-enabled workflows to maintain usability and reliability. You will collaborate with Product, UX, and QA to translate ambitious roadmaps into reliable releases, maintain engineering standards,

Formación

• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, software architecture, and design patterns.
• Hands-on with React/JS/TS and Go for large-scale products.
• Experience with AI-related workflows while maintaining quality and reliability.
• Proficient in Git and modern software development practices.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and deliver next-generation features to protect users from online threats.
• Write high-quality, maintainable software using modern technologies and best practices.
• Design scalable technical solutions used by millions of users.
• Create design docs, unit tests, and engineering artifacts for reliable code.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and QA to translate roadmaps into releases on schedule.
• Design integrations between systems and products; implement AI-enabled workflows.
• Mentor engineers and participate in code reviews; share knowledge.
• Communicate proactively and own deliverables in a distributed team.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and identify opportunities to improve products.
