Senovo IT Ltd. busca un AI Tech Lead para dirigir el programa de IA en Barcelona. El rol es híbrido, con 1–2 días en sitio, 6 meses+ de contrato. Se trabajará en soluciones AI basadas en Azure, con foco en RAG, LLMs y visión por computadora.

El candidato ideal posee más de 7 años de experiencia relevante y ha liderado squads de IA, con habilidades sólidas en backend y APIs, y experiencia práctica en nube.

Formación

• Debe tener experiencia liderando equipos de ingeniería de IA.
• Experiencia en diseñar y entregar soluciones de IA en la nube.
• Experiencia práctica con RAG y modelos LLM.
• Fuerte experiencia en desarrollo backend y APIs.

Responsabilidades

• Liderar un squad de IA multifuncional de hasta 6 ingenieros, alineando dirección técnica, prioridades y plazos.
• Definir estándares técnicos, buenas prácticas y guías arquitectónicas para soluciones de IA.
• Diseñar y supervisar sistemas backend escalables y APIs que soporten soluciones de IA en Azure.
• Impulsar la integración de capacidades de IA avanzadas, principalmente RAG y LLMs.
• Diseñar y validar soluciones de IA basadas en la nube usando servicios de Azure (Functions, App Services, Cosmos DB, Key Vault, OpenAI).
• Realizar revisiones de código, mentorear y facilitar la mejora de habilidades dentro del squad.
• Actuar como interfaz técnica entre el squad y stakeholders (Product Owner, Data Scientists, frontend, negocios).
• Monitorear rendimiento, definir normas de confiabilidad y disponibilidad de despliegues.

AI Tech Lead - Gen AI, RAG & Azure (x2) Duration: 6 months+ Location: Barcelona / Hybrid Languages: Spanish + English (Both mandatory) Context We are looking for an AI Tech Lead to join the AI program of one of our clients in Barcelona. The role is hybrid, with 1 to 2 days on-site for a 6 months+ contract where English and Spanish are both mandatory. The ideal candidate is likely a hands-on Generative AI Engineer, Backend Engineer, or Cloud Solution Architect with a Software development background who has progressed into technical leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional AI squad of up to 6 engineers, ensuring alignment on technical direction, priorities, and delivery timelines.
• Define and enforce technical standards, best practices, and architecture guidelines for AI solutions across the squad.
• Design and oversee scalable backend systems and APIs supporting AI solutions in Azure.
• Drive the integration of advanced AI capabilities, mainly RAG, plus LLMs, speech-to-text, computer vision, and IDP as a plus.
• Architect and validate cloud-based AI solutions leveraging Azure services such as Functions, App Services, Cosmos DB, Azure Key Vault, and Azure OpenAI.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical mentoring, and support upskilling within the squad.
• Act as the technical interface between the squad and stakeholders including Product Owner, Data Scientists, frontend developers, and business teams.
• Monitor system performance, define reliability and observability standards, and ensure high availability of AI deployments.
• Stay current on Generative AI, LLMs, and prompt engineering trends and translate them into actionable squad initiatives.

Requirements

• Must have ~7+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience leading AI engineering squads.
• Strong background in designing and delivering end-to-end AI solutions in cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with RAG and Generative AI.
• Strong backend systems and API development experience.
• Strong Azure experience, including Functions, App Services, Cosmos DB, Azure Key Vault, and Azure OpenAI.
• Solid knowledge of LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Nice to have Experience with speech-to-text solutions.
• Experience with computer vision.
