Job summary

CoverGo, a global insurtech platform, is seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to drive the technical vision of our enterprise-grade SaaS platform. You will lead a team of engineers, mentor peers, and champion integration of AI-enhanced features.

You will shape development standards, ensure scalable design, and collaborate with product, data and security teams to deliver reliable, innovative insurance technology solutions across markets.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience in a technical role, mentoring engineering teams in SaaS development.
• Extensive hands-on Full Stack development using Node.js and related technologies, with 8+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in frontend and backend technologies: Vue.js, GraphQL, MongoDB, Docker, TypeScript.
• Experience building AI-driven applications or features using APIs and ML models.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for scalable applications.
• Strong knowledge of TDD, testing frameworks, and automation.
• Understanding of OOP, SOLID, and design patterns; security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of our SaaS platform, aligning with business objectives.
• Mentor and grow a team of Full Stack Engineers through coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Drive AI integration strategy and collaborate with product/data teams on AI features.
• Evaluate AI models and APIs (OpenAI, Hugging Face) for POCs and implementation.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions with prioritization.
• Set coding standards and ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Conduct code reviews and promote testing methodologies and automation.
• Identify technical debt and bottlenecks, leading optimization initiatives.
• Champion security and regulatory compliance across the platform.
• Stay updated on tech trends and advocate adoption where relevant.
