Job summary

Stott and May Inc. is seeking an AI Architect to lead the design and delivery of production-ready Agentic AI and GenAI solutions for the insurance sector. You will shape AI architecture, govern solutions, and advise senior stakeholders on adoption and transformation.

You will lead cross-functional teams across engineering, data science and product, translating complex AI concepts into measurable business outcomes with a focus on risk, compliance, and value delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years delivering AI/ML systems, incl. 3+ years in Agentic AI/GenAI at scale.
• Production deployments of multi-agent platforms and LLM-based apps.
• Hands-on with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen or CrewAI.
• Strong knowledge of RAG, vector search, LLM integration and evaluation.
• Excellent Python skills and distributed systems understanding.
• Experience with MLOps/LLMOps pipelines, monitoring and cost-efficient inference.
• Insurance industry experience, London Market or Lloyd's is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and delivery of multi-agent AI systems, incl. orchestration and memory management.
• Design production-grade RAG solutions with grounding and traceability.
• Establish evaluation frameworks, guardrails, testing for accuracy and cost.
• Develop reusable AI components and scalable enterprise architectures.
• Lead MLOps/LLMOps pipelines, versioning, deployment automation and monitoring.
• Apply Responsible AI practices including governance and auditability.
• Assess AI maturity and develop target architectures and roadmaps.
• Advise senior stakeholders on AI strategy and opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, data science and product.
• Translate AI concepts into measurable business outcomes.
