Job summary

OpenNebula Systems seeks a Kubernetes Platform Engineer to advance the OpenNebula cloud platform and its Kubernetes integrations. You will work on production-grade clusters, automation, and multi-component orchestration in a fully remote, international team.

The role requires hands-on Kubernetes expertise, strong Go skills, and experience with Cluster API, RKE2, and Terraform. You will contribute to OneKS, CAPONE, CSI, and related tooling while collaborating across the stack.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Kubernetes administration in production or similar complex environments.
• Go development experience for building Kubernetes components.
• Experience with cluster lifecycle management (Cluster API and RKE2).
• Familiarity with modern development workflows and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features across OneKS, CAPONE, and CSI integration.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes and RKE2 clusters including networking and storage.
• Build Kubernetes controllers, operators, and Cluster API integrations in Go.
• Evaluate and integrate new solutions on Kubernetes, including AI workloads.
