Job summary

G-P is hiring an HR Specialist in the EOR industry to be a key partner for clients expanding into Southern Europe, with a focus on Spain. You will own the full employee lifecycle, ensure compliance, and provide strategic HR guidance across in-country operations.

The role requires fluent Spanish and English, 3+ years HR experience, and strong knowledge of labour laws. This is a remote-first position with international scope and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR experience.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Deep expertise of labor laws across Southern Europe, with focus on Spain.
• Experience supporting complex employee relations.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Tech-savvy with HRIS, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Zoom & Slack.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary HR contact for onboarding, lifecycle events, and terminations to ensure smooth and compliant employee experiences.
• Manage complex employee relations, conduct meetings, and draft legally sound documentation.
• Build and manage relationships with payroll providers, benefits brokers, and HR legal advisors.
• Be the first point of contact for client queries on benefits, compliance, and workforce planning.
• Provide in-country expertise on labor laws and cultural nuances in Southern Europe.
• Review and advise on employment contracts and risk mitigation.
• Guide clients through performance improvement plans and salary changes.
• Serve as SPOC for immigration and mobility with Global Mobility team.
• Identify delegable tasks, document processes, and ensure smooth knowledge transfer.
• Drive automation and AI adoption to streamline HR processes.
• Lead compliance governance projects across South Europe markets.
• Participate in global HR harmonization initiatives.
