Welocalize Life Sciences in Spain is seeking a Multimedia Content Reviewer to write and review linguistic content with native-level proficiency, ensuring top quality for customers using multimedia platforms.

The role covers localization for music, film, gaming and sports content, annotation tasks, linguistic reviews, and collaboration with a global language team to maintain consistent terminology and style across markets.

Formación

• BS/BA and 2+ years in journalism, copywriting, or copyediting with writing samples.
• Experience in translation and localization of multimedia content.
• Creative writer with strong storytelling skills.
• Ability to detect issues and inconsistencies in large content sets.
• Broad knowledge of music artists, TV, cinema, gaming and pop culture.
• Confident linguistic decision-maker with market ownership.
• Highly detail-oriented; able to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Strong computer literacy; knowledge of iOS/macOS is a plus.
• Capable of typing in native language using an English keyboard.
• Ability to work independently and remotely; thrives in a multicultural team.

Responsabilidades

• Localize, translate and adapt content across categories such as music, film, gaming and sports.
• Write new copy for multimedia products and services.
• Perform annotation tasks.
• Conduct regular linguistic reviews of own work and others’ within the localization team.
• Copy-edit and fact check content for accuracy.
• Perform LQA testing on live platform content (descriptions, marketing materials).
• Research market-specific terminology trends and localization practices.
• Transcribe spoken content such as lyrics.
• Report on data/assets across media types.
• Develop training materials and ensure team alignment on terminology and style.
• Collaborate with the global language team via meetings and emails to calibrate terminology and trends.
