Job summary
Recruiter4you is seeking an International Web Access & Compliance Engineer at Principal level to own web reachability, resilience and geo-performance across multiple markets. The role is remote with an option for hybrid work in Estonia or Malta and reports to the CTO.
The position focuses on DNS, BGP/routing, CDN, hosting, and IP reputation. Design and manage multi-region CDN/DNS, monitor with RIPE Atlas, and guide senior stakeholders on risks and priorities.
Qualifications
- 7+ years' experience in Network, Infrastructure or Site Reliability Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Own international web reachability and geo-performance across different markets.
- Diagnose issues including DNS, routing/peering, CDN, TLS, IP reputation and content filtering.
- Design and manage multi-region CDN, DNS (Anycast/GeoDNS) and hosting infrastructure.
- Monitor regional availability and performance using tools such as RIPE Atlas, OONI, traceroute/mtr and synthetic monitoring.
- Manage domain/IP reputation and work with ISPs, security and filtering providers on legitimate delisting and recategorisation processes.
- Support the technical side of market entry, licences and registrations in cooperation with Legal and Compliance.
- Define technical standards, architecture and monitoring strategies.
- Act as the senior technical authority, advising the CTO and senior stakeholders on risks, infrastructure priorities and market readiness.
