Job summary

Goodgame Studios is seeking an AI Artist to join the art team behind Empire and Empire: Four Kingdoms. This fully remote role requires delivering in-game visuals and marketing content using AI-assisted workflows, blending AI generation with traditional tools in a medieval art style.

You'll build and refine AI pipelines with ComfyUI, Midjourney, and image animation in After Effects, collaborating with an international team to maintain consistency and push the art forward.

Qualifications

• Portfolio with real shipped in-game assets including characters, buildings, environments, props, and animations.
• Hands-on experience with AI-driven visual production in a real production workflow.
• Advanced ComfyUI skills: building, debugging, and optimizing workflows; custom node setup.
• Strong working knowledge of image direction tools for AI outputs (Midjourney, ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini).

Responsibilities

• Produce in-game and marketing assets end-to-end using AI-assisted workflows.
• Build and maintain image and video generation pipelines in ComfyUI and other tools.
• Combine AI outputs with Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects to reach production quality.
• Create and animate assets using After Effects with solid animation principles.
• Maintain visual consistency with Empire art style across assets.
• Collaborate with product, CRM, game design, and developers.
