Teatown is hiring its first Backend Engineer (Java/Spring Boot) to build and own backend work for regulated clients in a flexible, remote-friendly setup. You’ll lead backend development, own client outcomes, and shape the early technical direction of the company.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in large-scale backends, cloud-native experience, and leadership capability. Spanish-based near Málaga or German-speaking with relocation enthusiasm is a plus.

Formación

• At least 7 years building and running large-scale backends with real Java and Spring Boot experience.
• At least 7 years in cloud-native environments (microservices, containers like Docker/Podman; Kubernetes or OpenShift).
• Experience leading a dev team or being the lead developer.
• English at C1 or above; Spain-based near Málaga or German-speaking if willing to relocate.

Responsabilidades

• Take the lead on backend engineering for clients using Java/Spring Boot in a cloud-native setup.
• Become the go-to engineer for a client you bring on and own backend work.
• Deliver client outcomes with autonomy and accountability, without heavy oversight.
