Job summary

Talan Spain is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to support, maintain, and evolve a critical pricing generation and distribution system for Fixed Income products. You will ensure platform reliability, improve deployment processes, and drive automation across cloud-native and legacy workloads.

Collaborating with development, architecture and infrastructure teams, you will modernize the platform, enhance observability, and promote DevOps best practices to deliver resilient, scalable

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Linux environments.
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Podman.
• Advanced Bash scripting skills and automation experience.
• Experience with AWS services and hybrid deployments.
• Strong networking fundamentals knowledge and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CI/CD and automation tooling (Jenkins, TeamCity, Ansible).
• Knowledge of monitoring/observability platforms (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo).
• Professional level of English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Linux-based environments.
• Support and troubleshoot containerized workloads using Docker and Podman.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents and platform issues.
• Support hybrid deployments across private and public cloud environments.
• Ensure platform stability, availability, and performance.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation scripts using Bash.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
• Contribute to infrastructure automation and observability initiatives.
• Promote DevOps best practices across the platform ecosystem.
• Partner with engineers to deploy and modernize the platform.
