Job summary

Remobi LTD. is hiring a Data Engineer to join a European data consultancy building an analytics platform on Azure Databricks for a German insurer. You will support data loading, quality rules, and exports for Power BI reporting ahead of January 2027 go-live.

You’ll work with a team of data consultants, implement tests, and help transfer Databricks knowledge to the client. Fluent English required; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in data engineering with hands-on Databricks work.
• Strong PySpark and SQL skills, data quality experience preferred.
• Experience with Delta Lake and Git-based workflows.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Nice to have: Databricks certification, Azure experience, German language.

Responsibilities

• Implement data loading routes and transformations in Databricks per specs.
• Build data quality rules and duplicate matching across datasets.
• Create standardized exports for CRM and reporting.
• Write unit tests and document technical approaches.
• Share Databricks knowledge with the client's team.
