Job summary

RWS is seeking AI Conversation Recording Contributors for a Catalan speech data collection project. This freelance, work-from-home role offers flexible, task-based work (approximately 2–4 hours daily) with an immediate start.

Contributors will record natural Catalan speech, annotate data, and provide metadata following project guidelines. The position supports cutting-edge AI tech and future language projects.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Catalan
• Authentic pronunciation and strong familiarity with the Catalan language
• Advanced level of English to understand written instructions
• Contributors must not imitate dialects or accents that are not their own
• Experience with speech recording or data annotation projects is an advantage, but not required
• Strong attention to detail when providing annotations and recording metadata
• Ability to follow detailed project and recording instructions

Responsibilities

• Record or collect natural, spontaneous speech in accordance with the project guidelines
• Participate in or capture speech from approved real-life situations, such as workplace conversations or casual one-on-one discussions
• Complete individual or two-person conversational speech tasks, or participate in voice or voice-text interactions with an AI or machine-based system
• Annotate collected speech data according to the instructions provided
• Provide the required information and metadata related to each recording
