Job summary

RWS is seeking AI Conversation Recording Contributors for a Galician speech data project. It is a freelance, remote-position with a flexible, task-based schedule (about 2–4 hours daily) and an immediate start. Payments are made at a rate of 11 USD per hour.

Contributors will record spontaneous speech, annotate data, and provide metadata to help evaluate and improve AI speech technologies. This engagement offers exposure to cutting-edge language data collection and future related projects.

Qualifications

Native-level fluency in Galician.
Advanced level of English to understand written instructions.
Strong attention to detail when providing annotations and recording metadata.
Experience with speech recording or data annotation projects is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

Record or collect natural, spontaneous speech in accordance with project guidelines.
Capture speech from approved real-life situations, such as workplace conversations or casual discussions.
Complete individual or two-person conversational speech tasks, or participate in voice or voice-text interactions with an AI system.
Annotate collected speech data according to the provided instructions.
Provide the required information and metadata related to each recording.
