Job summary

Ruby Labs Ltd. is seeking a Billing Data Analyst to join our Billing and Data team. You will analyze financial performance, billing behavior, and risk trends to drive decisions, improve efficiency, and reduce financial risk across products.

You will build data pipelines, run experiments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align processes and optimize outcomes. A strong foundation in statistics, SQL, and BI tools is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.
• Experience as a Data Analyst, ideally in fintech, subscription products, billing, or customer support.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with BI tools like Tableau or Looker.
• Proficiency in Python or R and solid statistical analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and report on key billing and support performance indicators and emerging trends.
• Build and maintain data pipelines to ensure accurate, timely data delivery.
• Apply statistical methods to project scenarios and forecast financial risks.
• Run A/B tests and experiments to evaluate billing and support strategies.
• Collaborate with Billing, Support, Finance, Product, Marketing to align processes with risk-mitigation goals.
• Analyze impact of marketing and product changes on billing outcomes and customer metrics.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve billing performance and reduce disputes and churn.
• Document analyses, workflows, and data logic for clarity and consistency.
