Mercanis is building the AI Procurement Platform that powers the procurement of tomorrow. We are looking for a Backend Engineer excited to build reliable backend services and grow technically.

This fully remote role offers EU time-zone alignment, or hybrid option from our Berlin office, with collaboration across cross-functional teams and exposure to production-scale systems, cloud services, and event-driven architectures.

Formación

• 2-4 years of professional backend or full-stack experience.
• Strong Node.js and TypeScript skills.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar databases.
• Solid understanding of API development and asynchronous programming.
• Fluent English in speaking and writing.
• Collaborative mindset with willingness to learn.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with product and design to turn requirements into scalable solutions.
• Contribute to testing, debugging, and monitoring for smooth releases.
• Learn from senior engineers and contribute to architecture discussions.
