Alignerr is seeking an Atmospheric Science Expert (AI Training) to develop rigorous climate-modeling problems that enable AI to reason at the highest scientific level. This remote hourly-contract role targets Masters and PhD specialists in atmospheric science.
You will design, solve, and review advanced problems in climate modeling, meteorology, and ecology; assess AI-generated reasoning for scientific accuracy; and collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers to push the boundaries of AI
Qualifications
- Masters or PhD in Atmospheric Science, Environmental Science, Climate Science, or closely related field.
- Experienced with Python or R for research, data analysis, or modeling.
Responsibilities
- Design, solve, and review advanced atmospheric science problems with real-world relevance and scientific depth
- Apply expertise in climate modeling, meteorology, ecology, or sustainability to craft complex, nuanced problem statements
- Evaluate AI-generated scientific reasoning for accuracy, rigor, and logical soundness
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to push the boundaries of AI scientific reasoning
- Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of scientific clarity, precision, and depth
