Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Principal Clinical Scientist (AI Training) for an hourly remote contract. You will design and review regulatory-ready clinical trial protocols for AI training and evaluation, and audit trial results for regulatory relevance.

You will evaluate AI-generated analyses for scientific soundness and regulatory alignment, identifying gaps in AI reasoning about outcomes and methodology. Work remotely and autonomously.

Qualifications

• Senior clinical scientist with hands-on experience designing and reviewing protocols for regulatory submission.
• Experience interpreting clinical data for FDA/EMA or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory science and biostatistics.

Responsibilities

• Design and review clinical trial protocols used to generate regulator-ready datasets for AI training and evaluation.
• Interpret and audit clinical trial results for accuracy, consistency, and regulatory relevance.
• Evaluate AI-generated clinical analyses for scientific soundness and regulatory alignment.
• Identify gaps and weaknesses in how AI models reason about clinical outcomes and trial methodology.
• Provide structured expert feedback that improves frontier AI systems' understanding of real-world clinical evidence.
• Work independently and asynchronously — on your own schedule.
