We are very excited to start a new journey and transform our software team based in Munich (Germany) to an international DevOps team!

The project

We are developing, maintaining, and operating a huge application cluster that supports various processes around vehicle test and validation at a renowned car company.

Our applications handle big data amounts, support complex and important business workflows and provide a stable and efficient work environment for several thousand users around the globe.

As a part of our team, you might be solving a problem for a highspeed car test, refining a user story for autonomous driving functionality, developing a new feature to extract petabytes of data efficiently from test vehicles or testing a new functionality in an application that manages studies about the future of driving.

The vehicle tests related processes supported by our in-house developed software systems are interesting and extremely diverse, and the used software technologies cover anything from classics like Java, Oracle SQL and .NET to state-of-the-art cloud-based architectures utilizing AWS, Kubernetes, Angular, microservice backends and MongoDB, just to name a few.

The team

We are a team of software developers and tech nerds with many years of work experience in all aspects of the software lifecycle: requirements engineering, architecture, development, operations, testing, security, IT support and agile project management.

Besides all of us being dedicated and motivated in our jobs, we do not only enjoy working together, but also organize regular private events. Diversity is not a buzz word for us, our team already consists of many different nationalities and cultures.

Now we are searching for all types of developers, tech specialists and operations experts in Germany, Spain or Slovakia who are interested to join and help us build up a modern international software team, where remote work and cross-functional DevOps knowledge applied in an agile setup is the new normal.

In this position:

• You will work in an agile DevOps team on the backend and frontend development of an Angular web application used in the vehicle testing process.
• You will make a valuable contribution in all phases of software development, from requirements analysis to design and implementation to quality assurance.
• You are a quick learner with a reliable and independent way of working.
• You enjoy working in a team as well as dealing with interesting challenges in the field of software development.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Good knowledge of SQL (Oracle / PostgreSQL / MS SQL)
• Fluent English

Nice to have skills

• Knowledge of REST Microservices
• Knowledge of Java or C#
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and ArgoCD
• Knowledge of MongoDB
• General test automation experience
• German language skills
