Airalo is hiring an Analytics Engineering Manager to lead our self-service analytics infra and data modeling. You will own the semantic layer, core data models, dashboards, and the Lightdash platform to empower teams across the business to answer questions.

You will report to the Director of Data and partner with analytics stakeholders to deliver scalable data products. You will mentor a growing team of analytics engineers, drive adoption of a unified KPI framework, and shape governance,

Formación

• 5+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or technical analytics roles with 2+ years of people management.
• Hands-on leader collaborating with senior leadership on strategy and priorities.
• Deep proficiency in dbt and scalable data models.
• Strong SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred).
• Experience with a semantic layer / metrics layer (Lightdash, Looker, MetricFlow, or similar).
• Track record of enabling self-service analytics through training and documentation.
• Familiarity with dimensional modeling and data warehouse design.
• Ability to translate needs into scalable data products.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and grow analytics engineers, building a culture of craft and empathy.
• Drive rollout of Lightdash as single source of truth for reporting.
• Own dashboard development from executive to operational views, then transition to analysts.
• Design and deliver training for business users across functions.
• Evolve core dbt models and semantic layer to support key analytics use cases.
• Establish governance: metric definitions, patterns, testing, and docs.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering on pipelines and data quality.
• Balance rigor with delivery speed while building foundational systems.
