Félix is hiring an AML Investigations Specialist to protect the platform from money laundering, fraud, and other financial crimes while enabling legitimate cross-border money movements. You will leverage AI to speed investigations and contribute to FinCrime procedures and documentation in a fully remote role.

The position emphasizes ownership, data-driven analysis, and collaboration with Fraud and Compliance Operations, with a path toward more automated processes in a fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to connect multiple data points into clear, evidence-based conclusions.
• Excellent written communication skills for investigative case documentation.
• Experience writing operational documentation, such as procedures or memos.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; Spanish proficiency is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review and disposition transaction monitoring and screening alerts within SLA.
• Conduct end-to-end AML, sanctions, fraud, and financial crime investigations across onboarding, monitoring, and post-review.
• Analyze customer activity, transaction patterns, device intelligence, and external data to identify suspicious activity.
• Escalate potentially suspicious activity and prepare clear investigative summaries and SAR recommendations.
• Draft and maintain investigation procedures, SOPs, memos, and knowledge articles.
• Support collaboration between FinCrime, Fraud, and Compliance Operations, including documenting handoffs.
