Job summary

WorkMotion is seeking an AI engineer to design and deploy production AI services across multi-agent systems and LLM pipelines for document processing, chatbots, and CRM automation.

You will own the end-to-end delivery from prototype to production, collaborating with engineering and product teams, ensuring security, observability, and cost/latency optimization across global, remote workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience (backend/Python).
• At least 1 year building LLM-based applications in production.
• Strong Python tech stack: FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy/Alembic, async programming, pytest.
• Hands-on with LLM tooling: agent frameworks, LiteLLM or similar gateways, tool calling, MCP, and RAG with vector databases.
• Comfortable with Docker, AWS (S3), CI/CD and observability tooling.
• Critical thinking: privacy and security considerations in data handling.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship production AI services in Python (FastAPI, async), including multi-agent systems and LLM-powered pipelines for document processing, chatbots and CRM automation.
• Develop and maintain MCP servers and integrations for safe, well-scoped access to company systems.
• Build retrieval and ingestion pipelines: document parsing, chunking, embeddings and vector search over AWS storage.
• Evaluate and improve quality with benchmarks, regression tests, replaying real cases and prompt/playbook iteration, focusing on cost and latency.
• Operate what you build: containerized deployments, observability, authentication and PII-safe handling of data.
• Contribute to AI governance by keeping lifecycle records, documenting risks and decisions, and supporting ISO evidence.
