Job summary

WorkMotion is seeking an AI engineer to craft agentic systems and LLM services. This remote role is within +/- 2 hours of CET and is offered as a full-time position with a starting salary of €45,000 per annum gross, subject to location, skills and experience.

You will own AI services from prototype to production—agents, LLM pipelines and MCP tooling—while collaborating with engineering and product teams to ensure reliability, security and measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience (backend/Python).
• At least 1 year building LLM-based applications in production.
• Strong Python skills: FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy/Alembic; async programming.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship production AI services in Python (FastAPI, async).
• Develop and maintain MCP servers and integrations.
• Build retrieval and ingestion pipelines: document parsing, chunking, embeddings, vector search on AWS.
